Job Summary
The Facility Executive Director is charged with providing day-to-day leadership and operational management of the treatment center. The Facility Executive Director will assist with daily financial responsibilities and partner with the facility leadership team to drive key performance indicators and financial measures, as well as improve systems/processes to optimize facility performance. Consistently maintaining high quality client care is of primary concern.

- In partnership with the Sr. Vice President of Operationsr, staff the facility with high quality department leaders who possess the knowledge and experience to deliver best in class SUD treatment. Including but not limited to:
Clinical Director, Nursing Director, Facility Operations Director, Admissions Director, Medical Director and others to be determined. - Provide direct supervision and daily management of the facility leadership team.
- Motivate facility leadership team through a system of metrics and develop a culture of accountability.
- Participates in ongoing supervision with communication with employees and ensures that their needs are met.
- Participate in mentorship with the Sr. Vice President of Operations towards overall strategic goals.
- Preparation of annual budget and preparation of a strategic business plan.
- Constant compliance to regulatory, accreditation standards and requirements, as well as any federal, state, or local certifying and licensure bodies at each assigned facility.
- Ensure staff in‑services and training programs are implemented and followed.
- Lead efforts to train and develop director‑level staff in areas including budgeting, position control, etc.; includes building competency among directors to confidently report metrics within their area of oversight.
- In partnership with Sr. Vice President of Operations, Operations, Chief HR Officer, Director, Talent Acquisition team, develop and maintain staff engagement and retention plans designed to maintain and/or decrease industry annual attrition at 35%.
- Performs direct supervision through use of performance competency process and scheduled supervision.
- In collaboration with Regional HR Business Partners, handles employee related concerns and complaints.
- Is responsible for Physician (Provider) relations at the facility.
- Ensure day to day operations of the facility service lines with a high focus on safe staffing levels, ability to effectively treat and admit patients at all times, and a leadership structure that has adequate redundancy.
- Enforce and monitor facility policies and procedures that prioritize the safety of all clients and staff.
- Organize and maintain an Administrator On Call rotation to ensure 24/7 management oversight of the facility.
- Is engaging and influences staff to seek the best possible outcomes by department and facility.
- Leads Daily Flash Meeting of department leaders and weekly leadership meetings; prepares for and supports Group Executive Director in Monthly Operational Report (MOR) meetings with AAC Executive Leadership.
- Willingness to provide facility leadership at other AAC locations (or other markets) as needed, includes requirement (with limited advance notice) to be flexible, to be available beyond normal business hours, and to travel for extended periods of time, pending the market/location of need.
