Certified Medical Assistant - Full Time (0.9 / 72 Hours Per Pay Period)

The Medical Assistant performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the assigned physician practice or clinic. This role supports providers in delivering quality patient care while ensuring efficient daily operations within the clinic setting.

• 0.9 FTE
• 72 hours per pay period
• Day shift (clinic hours based on department needs)

• High school diploma or equivalent - Required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent - Required

• CCMA, CMA, or RMA - Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire

• Critical thinking skills
• Decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to take appropriate action in clinical situations

• Assist physicians or nurses with patient assessments and treatments
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection
• Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record

• Maintain medical equipment and supplies (reorder, stock, clean, troubleshoot)
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms

• Perform clerical duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration
