Winchester, TN (On‑site / Production Floor) - Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 (Salary Exempt, No Bonus)

- Lead Lean initiatives, eliminate bottlenecks, conduct time studies, and cut out waste.
- Use CAD to design custom tooling, fixtures, and jigs that make production safer and more efficient.
- Take the reins on capital equipment—from initial project scoping and vendor selection to installation and final commissioning.
- Partner closely with maintenance, quality, and production teams to tackle real‑time troubleshooting and equipment reliability.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Develop and maintain process documentation including process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, jigs, and other manufacturing aids to improve safety, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Identify opportunities for automation and equipment improvements.
- Support equipment troubleshooting and reliability improvements in partnership with maintenance and production teams.
- Develop plant layouts and manufacturing cell designs to optimize workflow, ergonomics, and material movement.
- Support facility improvements, line balancing, and production capacity improvements.
- Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline).
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience inside a fast‑moving production environment.
- Proficiency with CAD (Solid Works/AutoCAD) and a strong grasp of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Mechanical assembling, mechanical maintenance, and mechanical engineering experience.
