Licensed Practical Nurse – Highpoint Family Wellness Winchester

Job Type: Full‑Time & Days.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.;
No Weekends.

Our team is committed to providing primary care that makes communities healthier. As a Clinic LPN you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to deliver direct patient care.

• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice as delegated by an RN.
• Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including specimen collection, wound care, and medication administration when authorized.
• Assist the RN in developing and reviewing care plans.
• Help patients with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and ambulation.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions to the RN, physicians, patients, and families.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well‑being.
• Schedule appointments and procedures as ordered by providers.
• Obtain insurance re‑authorizations for testing and scheduled procedures.

• Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license; graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
• Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and thrive in stressful environments.
