Schedule: 3x12; 7p-7a;
Rotating Weekends

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available to well-qualified applicants.

Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health providing direct patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support the physical and emotional well‑being of patients in a 157-bed facility, including acute care, skilled nursing, and behavioral health units.

• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Current Tennessee or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. BSN preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• One year of previous experience preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a licensed RN from a Compact State with proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
