Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehabilitation

Job Type: PRN, Variable.

Shifts:

3x12 within a 6‑week period (one weekend) and 2 holidays per year.

• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Current Tennessee or Compact State RN license and an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
• BLS certification (AHA Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and capability to work in a stressful environment.
• One‑year prior experience in a similar role preferred.
