Registered Nurse (RN), Director

Job Type: Full-Time | Days

Shift: Monday-Friday; 8-hour shifts;
No Weekends

• Perform essential functions as required.
• Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technology, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.
• Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Applicants must have a current Tennessee or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Certifications:
  
  AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Required skills:
  
  Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Licenses:
  Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with the proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
• Education:
  
  Associate's degree required;
  Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
