TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing assignment in Winchester, Tennessee. Immediate openings require 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-operative patients.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education as prescribed.

Medical Surgical Travel Nurses must stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods. They should lift 20 pounds easily and may need to lift up to 50 pounds. The role is fast-paced, dealing with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.

• BLS certification
• 1.5 years of clinical nursing experience
