• As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication; and document patient care.
• Assist the RN with development of the plan of care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with the RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Schedule appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Obtain insurance re‑authorizations as requested for testing and scheduled procedures.

• Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license.
• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
• Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Skills:
