Key Feature: On-site training facilities and real technical autonomy.
We are looking for a strong Diagnostic Technician who genuinely understands how to find a fault—not just plug in a tool and replace parts. If you can interpret live data, navigate wiring diagrams, and solve complex module communication issues, we want to talk to you.

Why This Role is Different:- Technical Autonomy: We trust your expertise. You’ll have the freedom to diagnose and resolve complex faults your way.
- Modern Environment: Work in a clean, professional workshop with up-to‑date diagnostic platforms.
- Work-Life Balance: A guaranteed Monday to Friday schedule.
Keep your weekends for yourself. - Specialist Training: Access to on‑site training facilities to keep you at the forefront of the trade.
- Solid Basic Pay: A reliable base salary of up to £45,000 without the stress of "bonus-chasing."
You will be the go-to specialist for complex issues, with responsibilities including:
- Advanced Fault-Finding: Diagnosing petrol, diesel, hybrid, and EV vehicles.
- Systems Analysis: Interpreting CAN bus faults, sensor/actuator data, and scope readings.
- Electrical Mastery: Navigating wiring diagrams and resolving module communication errors.
- Complex Repairs: Carrying out high‑level electrical and mechanical fixes.
- Technical Leadership: Supporting junior technicians with guidance on difficult jobs.
- Accuracy: Maintaining high standards of efficiency while ensuring "right-first-time" results.
- Expertise: Proven diagnostic experience in a busy workshop or dealership environment.
- Software Fluency: Confident using modern diagnostic platforms and specialist software.
- Electrical Knowledge: A deep understanding of modern vehicle systems and circuitry.
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) preferred.
EV/Hybrid experience is a major advantage. - Mindset: A methodical, professional problem‑solver who takes pride in their skillset.
- License: A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
If you’re a diagnostic professional who enjoys solving the "unfixable" faults and wants to be valued for your brain, not just your spanners, get in touch.
