Location: HMP Winchester, Romsey Rd, Winchester, SO22 5DF

Salary: £34,156.92 per annum (includes £3,500 location bonus per annum)
Contract: Permanent - 39 hrs per week - Mon-Fri

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Winchester, a Category C adult male prison. The role involves painting and decorating tasks within the prison environment and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary maintenance team.

As a Painter & Decorator you will work alongside experienced colleagues from plumbing, electrical, carpentry, cleaning and administrative disciplines to maintain a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
• Experience working in a maintenance team
• Honest and reliable character, with a sense of purpose and pace
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
