We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join an industrial and commercial electrical installation project in Hampshire on an initial 8-week contract
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works safely, efficiently and to a high standard, working as part of an experienced site team.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical installation works across an industrial/commercial project
- Install, maintain and terminate electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, including SLD and BCD drawings
- Complete installation works in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations
- Work alongside the Electrical Supervisor and wider site team
- Identify and report any technical or site-based issues
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Follow all site health & safety procedures and RAMS
- Ensure electrical works comply with BS7671 / 18th Edition requirements
- Relevant Gold CSCS / ECS Card
- Proven experience working as an Electrician
- Strong industrial and/or commercial electrical installation experience
- 18th Edition BS7671
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work
- ECS qualification/card
- EUSR / Water Hygiene
- Thames Water Passport
- Inspection & Testing experience
- IPAF
- Confined Space
- Previous experience working within the utilities sector
- Experience with MEICA installation projects
- Experience working on industrial or water-related electrical installations
- 8-week contract
- Hampshire-based project
- Full-time, site-based position
- Immediate start available
