We are currently looking for an experienced
Electrical Improver
to join an industrial and commercial electrical installation project in Hampshire on an initial8-week contract
.
The successful candidate will work alongside qualified electricians and supervisors, assisting with electrical installation works and supporting the wider site team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Assist electricians with electrical installation works across an industrial/commercial project.
- Support with the installation, preparation and termination of electrical systems and equipment.
- Assist with cable pulling, containment, glanding, termination and general electrical installation duties.
- Read and understand basic electrical drawings and site plans.
- Work under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor and qualified Electricians.
- Ensure materials, tools and equipment are available and ready for use.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all site health & safety procedures and RAMS.
- Assist with general electrical installation and site duties as required.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Electrical Supervisor.
- Blue CSCS Card
– essential. - Previous experience working as an
Electrical Improver
. - Previous experience within commercial and/or industrial environments.
- Basic understanding of electrical installation works.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.
- ECS qualification/card.
- 18th Edition BS7671
. - EUSR / Water Hygiene.
- Thames Water Passport.
- IPAF.
- Confined Space.
- Previous experience working within the
utilities sector
. - Experience with MEICA installation projects.
- Experience working on industrial or water-related electrical installations.
- 8-week contract
- Hampshire-based project
- Full-time, site-based position
- Immediate start available
- Blue CSCS Card required
