Financial Services Associate

Axiom Staffing Group is seeking a qualified Financial Services Associate for our client located in Winchester, VA. This is a full-time, short-term assignment. The Financial Services Associate will provide essential support to the Accounts Payable Department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily disbursement activities and related administrative functions.

• Accurately enter invoices into the Accounts Payable system.
• Process approved invoices in a timely manner, applying discounts when appropriate.
• Verify signature authority, purchase order receipts, and account coding to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and sort incoming invoices by category.
• Collaborate with internal departments to secure proper authorization for vendor and supplier payments.
• Maintain vigilance in preventing duplicate payments.

• Previous experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or financial administration preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Work Environment: 100% In office/in person
• Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour, commensurate with experience
