Job Overview

The Supervisor, Rehab Office reports to the Director of Regional Rehab Services and provides leadership and operational support for rehab services across multiple locations. The role involves partnering with local department managers, overseeing daily operations to ensure patient satisfaction, supporting employee engagement, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure patient satisfaction and staff support.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and coordinate onboarding.
  • Manage productivity, staffing, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary resource for office processes and support scheduling, registration, insurance, and related administrative functions.
  • Collaborate with billing partners and manage various rehab work queues.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in a healthcare or administrative setting.
  • Strong understanding of current departmental, hospital, and organizational initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of modern office technology and digital tools, including scheduling, registration, insurance, and billing workflows.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Proficiency using current technology for administrative and operational tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.
  • Ability to interpret and apply organizational updates effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving and process‑improvement skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leadership ability to support and guide team members in administrative and operational tasks.
