Job DescriptionAxiom Staffing Group is seeking a dependable and professional Office Assistant to provide administrative and operational support for a technology and security systems provider in Winchester, VA. This position operates in a sophisticated, appointment-only showroom environment. As the first point of contact for scheduled clients, the ideal candidate will maintain a highly professional, business‑ready demeanor and deliver exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities- Primary Administrative & Client Support:
- Client Hospitality: Welcome scheduled clients and visitors into the showroom with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Office Coordination: Answer inbound phone calls, manage correspondence, and maintain a tidy, welcoming front‑office environment.
- Operational Support: Work closely with the Director of Operations to streamline daily business tasks.
- Documentation: Review technician work orders, process contracts, and handle general administrative duties as assigned.
- Secondary / As‑Needed Support (Training Provided):
- Assist with basic accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes as requested.
- Generate client invoices and process contract deposits.
- Provide occasional, minor support with the monthly collections process.
- Experience: Previous experience in an office administrative, receptionist, or clerical support role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to maintaining a professional business presentation suitable for a client‑facing environment.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong computer proficiency; willingness and ability to learn basic accounting procedures and Quick Books (prior experience is a plus, but not required—we will train). - Soft Skills: Excellent multi‑tasking abilities, strong attention to detail, and the flexibility to work independently or collaborate with a team.
