Automotive Title Clerk

Carter Myers Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Title Clerk to process vehicle titles, registrations, and related DMV paperwork for multiple dealerships across Virginia. In this role, you will verify accuracy of sales documents, maintain detailed records, resolve title issues, and coordinate with sales, finance, and customers to ensure timely completion. You will manage lien releases, follow state and local regulations, and support audits.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles and registrations for new and used sales
• Verify accuracy and completeness of sales and finance documents
• Submit and track DMV paperwork in compliance with VA regulations
• Manage lien entries, releases, and payoff documentation
• Maintain organized title and registration records for audits
• Research and resolve title issues or discrepancies
• Coordinate with sales and finance teams to meet deadlines
• Communicate with customers, lenders, and DMV as needed
• Use dealer management systems for data entry and tracking
• Support dealership office operations as assigned
