Service Writer – Customer Equipment Solutions (CES)
Responsible for service and maintenance related administrative duties, including work order completion, technician time tracking, warranty recovery, preventive maintenance currency, scheduling, equipment file maintenance, service invoice processing, customer inquiries, and communication of service bulletins.
What you’ll do:- Work Order Completions: open and close work orders with accurate information.
- Technician Time Reporting: ensure all paid hours are recorded accurately and timely.
- Create and submit warranty tasks for eligible work.
- Monitor warranty reporting to ensure all claims are closed.
- Run preventive maintenance reports and schedule work to maintain fleet currency.
- Handle equipment maintenance issues with a high sense of urgency.
- Inform management of customer concerns.
- Code service‑related invoices correctly within the General Ledger.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- 1–2 years experience in a shop or service environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‑task in a busy environment.
- High sense of urgency in customer service.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
