Job Summary
Axiom Staffing Group is currently seeking a detail-oriented Order Management Coordinator for a short-term temporary assignment in Winchester, VA. As an Order Management Coordinator, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. You'll work closely with customers, sales, logistics, production, and transportation providers while maintaining accurate records and generating reports in Microsoft Excel.
This is a 100% onsite, short-term temporary assignment expected to last 2-4 months, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities- Process customer orders and maintain accurate order records.
- Enter order revisions, customer updates, and invoicing information.
- Coordinate shipments with customers and freight carriers.
- Schedule customer-arranged freight and provide shipping quotes for company-arranged transportation.
- Work with logistics and production teams to help meet delivery schedules.
- Process return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and customer credits.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipping documentation, and delivery updates.
- Create, update, and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Research and resolve shipping issues, order discrepancies, and customer concerns.
- Assist with system updates, process improvements, and testing of new procedures.
- Cross-train to support multiple customer channels as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order management, order entry, customer service, or an administrative support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Pay Rate: $21/hour
