Project Drafter

Metromont Corporation, a leader in precast concrete construction, is seeking a skilled Project Drafter to join our Engineering & Design department. In this role, you will leverage your drafting skills to create detailed drawings that will guide the production and installation of robust precast concrete structures. This position is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to innovative construction projects and possessing a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and schematics for precast concrete structures using Auto
• CAD and other design software.
• Collaborate with project engineers and architects to understand and accurately execute design intentions.
• Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, to ensure consistent documentation and reporting during project execution.
• Review blueprints, plans, and other documents to effectively prepare drawings and layouts.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure specifications are followed accurately and troubleshoot potential issues in design plans.
• Maintain, manage, and organize all engineering drafter related documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide insights from a drafting perspective.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Auto
• CAD, Revit, and other architectural design and planning software.
• Strong understanding of construction and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with different departments.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot potential issues in design plans.
