• Use effective lesson delivery techniques to provide instruction to students and facilitate classroom discussions in subjects including Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, etc.
• Collaborate with the general education teacher to suggest modifications and/or accommodations to the lesson plan; implement through team teaching, co-teaching (small group or whole class); assess overall student progress.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students, assist with academic tasks, behavior management, and social skills development.
• Complete reports on attendance, student progress, and other documentation as required by the administrative team.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and other school-related events.
• Provide instructional support to students with special needs, ensuring they have the accommodations and modifications necessary for success.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents regarding student needs, progress, and concerns.
• Develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships with all students and staff.

• Associates Degree, minimum 60 credit hours, or Paraprofessional Certification.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working with children.
• Experience in autism and in a multicultural setting serving youth.
