What We Do?
  • Little Flippers is a premier state‑of‑the‑art, year‑round Learn‑to‑Swim Center designed for infants, toddlers, and children. It is the first of its kind in Massachusetts, providing Metro West Boston families the ultimate program for swim instruction and lifesaving water‑safety education.
What We Are Looking For
  • Training and Development Manager to support and develop the instructor team.
  • Responsible for new‑hire onboarding, employee culture, engagement, and job satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills, dependable, open to feedback, and passionate about water and children.
  • Reports to the General Manager and supports prime‑time shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the development of all new hires.
  • Collaborate with managers to drive operational excellence.
  • Model core values (Safety, Quality, Connection, WOW!) during all shifts.
  • Conduct performance reviews for new and seasoned employees.
  • Problem‑solve complex daily challenges.
  • Support instructor, deck, office, and mentor training programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Prior leadership training or experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be coached.
  • Problem‑solving ability and teamwork.
  • Commitment to afternoons and weekend shifts.

Compensation

$17–$24 per hour.
