Summary
Primary responsibility is providing assistance to students receiving special education services in an inclusion classroom. As directed by the principal and classroom teacher, the teaching assistant will also: work with individual or small groups of students in an instructional capacity, supervise students during other activities such as lunch, and assist in completing necessary paperwork.
Qualifications- Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent.
- Must have met one of the following options:
- Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 credit hours).
- Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree.
- Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS.
- Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position.
Range for is $17.00 to $26.18 per hour plus full benefits package.
WorkdayFull time/10 month (183 days) position, 7 hours per day.
