Summary: Primary responsibility is to provide instructional assistance to middle school students. As directed by the principal and classroom teacher, the teaching assistant will also work with individual or small groups of students in an instructional capacity, supervise students during other activities such as lunch, and assist in completing necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent.
• Must have met one of the following options:
  • Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 credit hours);
  • Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree;
  • Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS.
• Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position.

Salary: 2026‑2027 Range for salary is $17.51 to $26.97 per hour plus full benefits package.

Workday: Full time/10 month (183 days) position, 7.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday
