Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Virginia license with an endorsement in School Psychology.
Graduate level work including training in psychological and educational testing.
Experience and skill as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team to support struggling students through a problem-solving process.
Skilled at conducting individual and group counseling sessions with students.
Experience in the administration of and interpretation of psychological and educational diagnostic assessment instruments.
Skilled in explaining evaluative information to staff and parents, and skill with report writing to include prescriptive educational recommendations.
Psychologist Grade PY Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position).
Full time / 11 months / 220 days.
This position is effective for the school year. Applicants for the school year will also be considered.
