Summary: Primary responsibility is to provide special education services for middle school students in an inclusion environment. The qualified candidate will have a background in working with middle school students who have learning disabilities.
QualificationsThe candidate should hold a Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Special Education K‑12 General Curriculum or Specific Learning Disabilities K‑12, or be eligible for such. Emphasis on candidates who are highly qualified in one or more core content areas.
SalaryRange for the school year is $54,590 - $85,329 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree. Fully licensed successful candidate eligible for $5,000 signing incentive and a $5,000 VRS qualified stipend.
WorkdayFull time, 10 month, 200 days, 7 hours per day.
