Shenandoah University’s Child Care Center is accepting applications for a Preschool Assistant Teacher. This is a full‑time, benefited position located in Winchester, Virginia.
Responsibilities- Assist teacher in daily activities
- Develop and implement lesson plans
- Meet each child’s basic needs
- Interact with children
- Take children outside daily
- Communicate with parents about their child’s day
- Clean and sanitize toys and tables
- Learn and implement licensing regulations
- Maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom
