The US Army Corps of Engineers seeks a design engineer to coordinate or monitor fire protection and life safety systems for projects in the SWM area of responsibility. You will review studies, scopes of work, and final design plans prepared in-house and by Architect-Engineers, interpreting codes and standards to determine feasible solutions.
You will develop design criteria, prepare specifications and drawings, and conduct shop inspections of major fire protection equipment.
