Qualifications- Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
- American Heart Association BLS
- 2 years of recent relevant experience
$1,920 - $2,086 per week. 13‑week contract with possibility to extend. AM shifts available. Hospital Setting.
Key Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis.
- Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians and health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems.
- Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
- Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility.
