American Traveler is hiring a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a 450-bed Level II Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of mammography experience and MQSA compliance.
Responsibilities- Works in a dedicated Mammography unit within a 450-bed Level II Trauma Center
- Performs general mammography screenings with a target throughput of 31 screenings within a 12-hour shift
- The traveler will be the sole mammography tech providing this service and must be able to work independently
- Uses Epic EMR
- Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), working Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
- Every Saturday and Sunday is required
- No on-call requirements
- No float requirements
- Perform general mammography screenings for a Level II Trauma Center patient population
- Must be able to independently manage a high-volume mammography caseload
- Caribbean blue scrubs required per Valley Health dress code policy
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience
- Must be proficient in mammography and MQSA compliant
- BLS certification required (AHA only; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date)
- ARRT certification required
- VA license required if applicable
- Candidates must live more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible
- US SSN required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
