The Role
The Pharmacist will contribute to the company’s growth and quality through overseeing pharmaceutical care delivery and quality while providing a delightful patient experience. The Pharmacist will ensure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy through the medications they receive.
Location: Winchester, Virginia - Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately processing orders and dispensing medications in accordance with Local Infusion processes and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring adequate medications and supplies
- Communicating with patients when questions arise to ensure quality care
- Collaborating with referring and internal providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensuring pharmacy regulatory requirements and industry standards are met
- Assisting with operational and clinical tasks as necessary
- Must be willing to work part-time initially, transitioning to full-time hours.
Qualifications:
- Licensed pharmacist with a valid license in the state of Virginia
- 2+ years experience practicing as a pharmacist in pharmacy operations, performing administrative tasks, and navigating insurance authorizations. Experience serving as a PIC preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional site visits
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of practice
