Description:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle HCM Cloud Developer to support HR data modernization and analytics initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud, SQL development, and HR data engineering, who enjoy working on data transformation, reporting, and enterprise analytics solutions.
You will play a critical role in building and optimizing data pipelines, reporting structures, and analytics datasets, ensuring accurate and scalable HR data for business intelligence and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects across Oracle and SQL Server environments
- Translate and modernize legacy HR data (SQL Server/People Soft) into Oracle HCM Cloud-based structures
- Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and transformations for enterprise reporting and analytics
- Utilize Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and BICC for data extraction, reporting, and validation
- Analyze Oracle HCM frontend configurations and backend data models to ensure data accuracy and alignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, KPIs, and reporting logic
- Create and maintain data documentation (data lineage, mappings, business rules, governance artifacts)
- Perform data quality validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution across systems
- Support data governance and HR analytics initiatives
Technical
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in Oracle HCM development, HR analytics, or data engineering
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, window functions, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and SQL Server
- Strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud (data structures, reporting, and functional concepts)
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and BICC
- Experience working with or modernizing People Soft or other legacy HR systems
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension models, historical data design)
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, and documentation best practices
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work independently in a contract-based, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex data issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Adaptability in dynamic environments with evolving requirements
