Data Engineer, Mid-Level

Location:

Winchester, VA or Washington, DC (Hybrid)

The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and CI polygraph eligibility. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in data engineering. The successful candidate will develop, integrate, and maintain data pipelines and visual analytics tools to support advanced mission‑critical environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions.
• Developing data analytics for desktop and web‑based visual analytic software.
• Facilitating bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics, visualization, and high‑performance computing.
• Creating applications that produce actionable intelligence from structured and semi‑structured data streams.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Proof of active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Proficiency with open‑source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
• Strong background in data integration, analytics platforms, and high‑performance computing environments.

Competitive salary range: $80,000 to $145,000 annually.
