Overview BRMi is seeking an experienced Service Now Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Adoption & Enablement Consultant to support the implementation and organizational adoption of Service Now SPM across our Portfolio, Program, and Project Management functions within HR. This contractor will serve as a trusted advisor, trainer, and subject matter expert throughout the transition from multiple project management tools and processes to a centralized Service Now SPM solution.
The consultant will partner directly with Portfolio Managers, Project Managers, Program Managers, and business stakeholders to drive user adoption, establish best practices, provide hands‑on support, and develop sustainable operating procedures. The ideal candidate brings proven experience implementing Service Now SPM, enabling PMOs through similar transformations, and creating scalable governance, training, and support models that ensure long-term success.

Salary: 116k-134k
Responsibilities Service Now SPM Expertise & Advisory- Serve as the subject matter expert for Service Now Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) capabilities and best practices.
- Advise leadership and PMO stakeholders on industry-leading portfolio, program, and project management processes enabled through SPM.
- Recommend configuration, workflow, governance, and reporting approaches that align with organizational objectives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline portfolio management processes and improve user experience.
- Develop and deliver role‑based training for Portfolio Managers, Program Managers, Project Managers, Project Leads, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, office hours, demonstrations, and hands‑on learning sessions.
- Support users during implementation, pilot, and post‑launch phases.
- Act as the primary point of contact for user questions regarding system functionality and process execution.
- Coach teams on transitioning from legacy tools and processes to new ways of working.
- Create comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process guides, job aids, quick‑reference materials, and training documentation.
- Document portfolio governance processes, intake workflows, demand management procedures, resource planning practices, and reporting standards.
- Develop a sustainable knowledge repository that supports ongoing training and operational consistency.
- Ensure documentation reflects approved governance decisions and organizational standards.
