Position Summary
Trex is seeking a seasoned Senior IT M&A Integration Program Manager to establish and lead the enterprise IT capability supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic business integrations.
This role is responsible for developing and owning the Trex IT M&A Playbook and leading the planning, governance, and execution of all technology integration activities across the entire M&A lifecycle. The successful candidate will serve as the enterprise integration leader for IT, partnering with business and technology leaders to ensure acquisitions are integrated efficiently, consistently, and with minimal business disruption.
This is not a traditional project management role. It is an enterprise integration leadership position requiring the ability to orchestrate dozens of concurrent work streams spanning business processes, technology platforms, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, engineering, data, analytics, and organizational change.
The Senior IT M&A Integration Program Manager leads through influence rather than direct authority, ensuring alignment across IT and business functions while maintaining disciplined governance, proactive risk management, and predictable execution.
The ideal candidate has personally led multiple enterprise technology integrations supporting acquisitions valued between $50 million and $200 million+, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, building products, or distribution organizations.
Role Purpose
The primary objective of this role is to build a repeatable, scalable, and predictable IT integration capability that enables Trex to execute acquisitions quickly, minimize operational risk, accelerate synergy realization, and continuously improve with every transaction.

- Capturing lessons learned and incorporating continuous improvements after every acquisition.
- Maintaining reusable playbooks for acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and business integrations.
Partner with Corporate Development and business leadership to evaluate technology implications of potential acquisitions.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing enterprise architecture and technology maturity.
- Evaluating infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, networks, engineering platforms, cloud environments, and data landscapes.
- Identifying integration complexity, technical debt, operational risks, TSA requirements, and separation considerations.
- Estimating integration effort, costs, timelines, staffing requirements, and synergy opportunities.
- Presenting technology findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
Develop and maintain the integrated technology master plan covering every phase of execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Defining milestones, dependencies, critical path, governance, and executive decision points.
- Developing Day 1, Day 30, Day 90, and long-term integration roadmaps.
- Coordinating planning across internal technology teams, business functions, implementation partners, and vendors.
