Role Summary The Supply Chain Coordinator is a key contributor to the efficiency, reliability, and responsiveness of Heven Aerotech's supply chain operations. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end flow of materials, components, and finished goods across the organization to ensure production continuity and customer delivery commitments are met. Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics, the Supply Chain Coordinator will manage day-to-day procurement and materials coordination activities, maintain supplier relationships, oversee inventory accuracy, and assist with inbound and outbound logistics.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working cross-functionally in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment where quality, traceability, and compliance are essential. This position requires a proactive professional who can anticipate supply risks, resolve operational issues quickly, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen supply chain performance, reduce cost, and support business growth.

Essential Responsibilities
* Coordinate the creation, issuance, and follow-up of purchase orders for raw materials, production components, tooling, and MRO supplies in alignment with production schedules, forecasted demand, and project requirements.
* Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for approved vendors and suppliers, helping to build strong working relationships that support quality, responsiveness, and dependable service.
* Monitor supplier performance across key measures such as on-time delivery, lead time adherence, quality performance, pricing, and responsiveness, and escalate issues when necessary.
* Source alternative or new suppliers as needed to support business continuity, cost competitiveness, and capacity requirements, while assisting with supplier qualification and onboarding processes.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications, quality standards, and aerospace compliance requirements.
* Track supplier commitments and proactively identify potential delivery delays, shortages, or cost impacts, communicating risks and recovery plans to the Director of Logistics and relevant teams.
* Support quote collection, bid comparisons, and purchasing analysis to improve sourcing decisions and supplier value.
* Maintain accurate inventory records within the company's ERP/MRP system, ensuring material transactions, receipts, issues, adjustments, and transfers are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
