Maintenance Tech

Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician! Based on our career development plan, there are three different position levels available based on experience.

• Requirements:
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Some experience in construction/maintenance activities as related to buildings and grounds
  • Valid driver's license

• Requirements:
  All requirements stated for Maintenance Technician I with three years of experience performing similar work.

• Requirements:
  All requirements stated for Maintenance Technician I with five years of experience performing similar work.

• Routine Plumbing, Electric, Carpentry, and HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) repairs.
• Maintain parking lots, streets & sidewalks during winter/weather events (including 12 hour shifts possible nights, weekends & holidays).
• Perform exceptional external & internal customer service to the Citizens of Winchester & fellow employees.
• Ensures equipment, tools and supplies are properly cleaned, stored, and secured.
• Responsible for sweeping, blowing parking lots, Loudoun Mall and sidewalks when needed.
• Assist in other areas of Facilities Maintenance (including Parking Authority) as needed.
• Responsible for taking FM on-call phone and being on-call nights and weekends as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary range: $90,000.00 - $
