WhatYou'll Do
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on precast concrete production equipment, forms, molds, and material handling systems.
Diagnose mechanical and structural issues and complete welding and fabrication repairs to restore equipment to safe operating condition.
Fabricate, modify, and repair precast forms, embeds, racks, lifting devices, and equipment components as part of ongoing maintenance support.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and specifications to execute maintenance repairs and custom builds.
Cut, fit, assemble, and weld carbon steel components used in precast manufacturing operations.
Support preventive maintenance efforts by identifying wear, fatigue, and weld failures common in heavy precast environments.
Assist with installation, alignment, and modification of repaired or newly fabricated components on production equipment.
What You'll Need- 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, Stick, TIG as applicable), including cutting, fitting, and repairing steel components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and structural issues on production equipment and precast forms.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
- Basic computer skills for work orders, maintenance tracking, and reporting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
