Material Handler – Temp to Hire

Kraft Heinz – Winchester Plant

Reporting to the Materials Manager, this position is responsible for receiving all SAP ordered items in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining accurate paperwork, and ensuring alignment with Kraft Heinz standards. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. It has high visibility and impacts many areas of operations.

• Receive primary, secondary, and raw materials into SAP that deliver into the plant or any contracted warehouses.
• Maintain accurate shipping paperwork, Certificate of Analysis, driver information, and all receiving information to align with Kraft Heinz standards.
• Handle all discrepancies that may arise in the receiving process.
• Maintain Employee Food Safety Awareness.
• Provide flexibility to work all hours and weekends as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Quality orientation – accomplish tasks while considering all aspects of the job, checking processes, and being watchful.
• Adaptability – maintain efficiency when experiencing major changes in work tasks or environment.

• Understand and follow company and site policies on Good Manufacturing Practices, Hold Tags, HACCP, USDA, Foreign Objects, Safety and Security.

• Frequent walking, extended standing periods.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to climb and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed shoes, hair and beard nets, bump caps, gloves, eye protection, aprons, etc.
• Work in a non‑temperature‑controlled, GMP environment.
• May be requested to work occasional overtime, including weekends; schedule subject to change based on business needs.

• Comfortable working on a tablet/computer.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
• Adaptability to a changing environment and schedule.
