** Duties And Responsibilities of a Quality Control Gauger:
** Reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Gauger’s responsibilities would include, but will not be limited to, the following:  
* Must effectively be able to communicate informed and analytical information to mechanics and management teams at all times.
* Must know how to read, understand, and interpret paperwork and schedules.
* Ability to operate and interpret controlled machines and have knowledge about Gauges.
* Complete routine written documentation.
* Ensure ALL processes are within specification both dimensionally and visually at all times.
* Ability to understand and interpret the following:
End Specifications, PO’s, metal thickness, pallet details, ESE’s, score gauge (MeTop), openability (Versatile), pop/pull, missile, tab strength, TRAC Sequence Machine, TRAC Shell, Exposure Gauge, buckle testing, compound placement (Ovec), leak detector (Ovec), weigh-up shells for compound checks, heat test, visual checks, paperwork – HFI’s, hold tickets, RGR’s log book.
* Take care of overrun area. Complete blush test, and have the ability to trace and find beginning of defects on pallets and production lines.
* Capable of restocking, repairing, sorting, scrapping, and visually inspecting pallets.
* Must be able to comprehend Statistical Process Control, interpret and comprehend control charts, and follow reaction guidelines for ALL defects.
