The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for assisting the Supply Chain Team in the execution of the production schedule and maintenance of inventory in the ERP system. The Supply Chain Planner must be able to manage complexity in a 24x7 manufacturing environment as a collaborative problem solver.
Responsibilities- Put safety first - Always!
- Lead and foster our "people first" culture.
- Management of Raw Materials
- Manage raw material ordering to ensure adequate supply for the manufacturing schedule with consideration for safety stocks, lead-times, space, and maximum inventory levels.
- Support cycle counts and research to resolve discrepancies in the ERP.
- Coordinate transportation of materials between storage locations / manufacturing with consideration for just-in-time delivery and space constraints.
- Production Scheduling
- Manage the conversion of the Supply Plan to a Master Production Schedule. Responsible for balancing demands of sales order fulfillment with manufacturing efficiency.
- Implementing and measuring schedule adherence for root cause analysis.
- Partnering with Quality / Engineering / R&D to ensure materials placed on Hold are efficiently evaluated for release / scrap to meet sales order requirements.
- Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to manage project work and trial requirements within the production schedule.
- Leverage experience to identify and implement process improvements for working capital and production efficiency.
- Manage new item set-up and maintain ERP settings to drive system accuracy and reduce requirement for external data modeling

ExperienceWe are looking for leaders with a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain and 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain or operations roles. Experience with ERP or MRP systems preferred.

SALARYBase Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually.
The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
