Job Description:
This position is eligible for a $5.00 an hour Float Pool Differential.
Winchester Hospital is a 5× Magnet designated, Top Massachusetts recognized 226‑bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.
As a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Services/ICU Float Pool Team, you will be responsible for the following:
- Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observe patients’ progress and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
- Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a state‑approved and/or accredited RN program required. Preferred: BSN strongly encouraged.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Work experience in a unit‑specific specialty preferred.
Schedule:
Three 12‑hour shifts, including every third weekend and holiday rotation.
All staff must be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment.
