Position: Clinical Manager – Medical Oncology

Location: United States of America

Shift: First Shift (Regular Work)

Pay Range: $50.50 - $75.34

Job Overview

The Clinical Manager provides direct clinical supervision to assist in maintaining appropriate clinical standards with 24‑hour accountability and participates in the development and management of the budget.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical supervision to ensure adherence to clinical standards and 24‑hour accountability.
  • Participate in the development and management of the department budget.
  • Mentor and support clinical staff, functioning as a resource and charge RN as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) – required.
  • More than 5 years of staff nurse experience with progressive clinical management skills.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience functioning as a charge RN.
  • Knowledgeable in the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological stages of human growth and development.
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, implementation, and management of clinical processes.
Certification & Licensure
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia – required.
  • National certification by a specialty organization within two years of hire – required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association (AHA) approved – required.
  • New hires must possess an AHA‑approved “Healthcare Provider” (HCP) certification prior to completing orientation.
