** Job Description
** The Staff RN is responsible for the provision and supervision of nursing care to cardiopulmonary rehabilitation patients in accordance with department policies and procedures. The Staff RN will be responsible for performing a variety of duties within the Cardiac Rehab and Testing Departments.
** Education
* * High School Graduate (or equivalent) Graduate of a state accredited school of nursing

Nursing (BSN) preferred
** Certification & Licensures
** RN Nursing License in Virginia requiredBLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart †̃Healthcare Providerâ€TM (HCP) - AHA approved required   ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)  New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation
** Qualifications
* * Must have strong assessment skills and be able to make independent decisions based upon nursing assessment
