American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2+ years of Pre-Op, Post-Op and PACU experience with Epic proficiency.

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• 16-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Patient population ranges from geriatric to procedural and cardiac cases, including TAVR
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Floating to sister units and on-campus surgery center as case volume requires
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients
• May be responsible for titrating drips and supporting procedural to cardiac case types
• Navy scrub color required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
