Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Winchester, Virginia, 22601!

Travel RN – PACU (3x12's, Days)

Winchester, VA | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients ranging from pediatric (6 months) through geriatric populations in a 16-bed PACU unit
• Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio while delivering Pre-Op and Post-Op nursing care
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic EMR (required)
• Float to sister units as needed and to an on-campus surgery center as case volume shifts
• Fulfill on-call requirements as needed, up to one 12-hour shift per week
• Work one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday); no holiday requirements

• Active Virginia RN License or valid Compact State License
• Minimum 2+ years of Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU RN experience
• ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• PALS certification (AHA only) required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Strong IV access skills
• Critical care level experience
• Level 2 Trauma experience

• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week in a well-established PACU setting
