Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool night shift position requiring cardiac and telemetry experience plus a VA or compact RN license.

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Float Pool position within a 495-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• Acute care patient population with average patient ratios of 1:7
• Night shift schedule, 3x12's from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Requires floating to other units as needed
• Every other weekend and holiday work required
• No on-call requirements
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Float pool role supporting nursing needs across multiple units within the facility
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• May request one holiday off, with a maximum of two RTO days considered for holidays
• Candidates may be considered within a 50-mile radius in lieu of the standard 65-mile radius rule
• No block scheduling can be accommodated for this assignment
• Facility has earned an 'A' grade in Patient Safety for nine consecutive years
