Quality Assurance Technician

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician at our Winchester, VA pasta production facility, where we produce Ronzonipasta.

Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off

• Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, andspecificationcompliance
• Audit production and packaging for accuracyinshapes,specifications,storage,packaging,labelingandcoding
• Identify and manage non-conforming product sand food safety hazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions
• Maintain records,documentation,and retention samples
• Proactivelyidentifyandexecute on continuous improvement opportunities

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Bachelor'sdegreein foodrelatedfield(Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)
• Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications(Outlook,Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in QA testing

• Crouch, kneel, stoop, reach above shoulders, bend,balance, climb, work on ladder, push,pull,grasp,feel,perform fine manipulation, lift/carry (up to 50 pounds),sit,standandwalkfor extended periods
• Work in dusty,highheat/humidity environment
• Communicate verbally and in writing,and distinguish objectsor equipment visually
• Work8-hour shifts
