Frederick County Parks & Recreation is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Concession Attendants (Part-Time) to support the year-round concession stand at Sherando Park. In this role, you'll be on the front lines of guest experience, delivering friendly service, handling transactions accurately, and preparing popular snacks;

while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.

What You'll Do:
As a Concession Attendant, you will:

• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, taking orders, and resolving concerns professionally.
• Accurately process concession and admission payments using a Point of Sale (POS) system while maintaining cash accountability.
• Prepare and serve basic food items (popcorn, pretzels, hot snacks) following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked concession stand, including equipment, workstations, and supplies.
• Assist with opening and closing operations, special events, and team support during busy periods.

What We're Looking For:

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Comfortable performing dual-function responsibilities as both cashier and food prep worker.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to multitask, stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required Serv Safe Food Safety certification within 3 months of employment.
