Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities, builds relationships with stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives, identifies goals and objectives, measures progress, addresses improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability.
Leads and develops teams by actively listening, touring stores, providing feedback, communicating across levels, utilizing technology and merchandising initiatives, introducing and leading change efforts, and guiding business solutions.
Models exceptional customer service standards, manages customer service initiatives, resolves complaints, and drives continuous improvement for a high‑quality experience.
Ensures compliance with company policies, supports mission and values, implements action plans, and provides guidance on best practices.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the store area by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, operational processes, and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and meet goals.

- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For firearm sales facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For ammunition‑only sales facilities: may require a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Associates required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
- Annual salary range: $65,000 – $100,000.
- Performance‑based bonus awards.
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.
